40D lessons
Is there a kind person in the house, who lives in my proximity (30 or 40 mile) who will let me tag on for a couple of hours and give me a few tips with the 40D id be very grateful...Ray

Ray I have been travelling back to the UK today I am still interested but I am no expert with the camera I have only had mine for about 3 months and it was my first DSLR. If Stephano is still interested I will tag along and offer what help I can.

I personally think you will learn more in a group with many people helping you along and very much doubt anyone would object to you being there. The more the merrier. If I were in the UK and attending, I would be happy to have you meet up.

Recently went on a camera meet in Bedford which was a mix of people who really knew their photography, a few middling photographers (inc me) and a complete novice, who by the end of the evening had really started to get the hang of things. He wasn't left alone at all and was given alot of help.
