It must be my age. It seems that only the other day I casually mentioned, whilst in conversation with another venerable member, that the new forum colour scheme was pretty cool, except that I found it more difficult to read the text in the 'text entry' field as it had lower contrast/lighter background than the forums.

Today, I find the text entry field has become much darker! I can see what I'm typing!

It's a miracle! I may have to join one of our new members (Vicar) at work on sunday.

Anyone would think that the Crew pay attention to the comments that the members make and acted on anything that appears to be an improvemnt.

I was only saying the other day how much of an improvement there would be to my life if I woke up and found a Ferrari on my driveway......... (even a red one)

hahahaha I noticed the hard to read scheme the other day when I registered. I thought maybe it was just my monitor.

I have darkened the background colour of all input and reply boxes plus removed the nice little texture image that was overlaid, the result of which is that there is now more contrast in the reply boxes. This was done due to it being mentioned on the forums and also we did receive one direct PM asking if anything could be done to help with the situation.

The last thing I tried to improve was the brightness/visibility of the flashing cursor but that is automatically controlled at the operating system level on your pc's. It is supposed to change it to always be visible and without me implementing some fancy Java programming or making the cursors into images (coloured) then there is nothing more I can do.

Hopefully these small changes are a help though

Bit by bit the site gets darker....I'll get rid of all the colours by the end of the year ...a pure Mono site .....next the world ...huuwhaaahuuuhaaa...Mini-me , put that down !!!

It all depends how many drinks they have or if Dave is playing with his new camera or looking for his new car
In that situation ,spelling {and everything else} goes by the board, still lets not complain too much as they TRY to tell us "we are only human". I for one would want DNA proof
