Anyone else got a mad car
Just got off the phone to my Uncle who has just swapped his MX5 in for a Caterham 7, that he intends to drive a 20 mile round trip into Bristol throughout the winter
  . Gonna have a go in it next weekend......always wanted one of these after doing a formula ford race lesson. Anyone else got a mad mobile they keep in the garage ? |

I don't know if this qualifies. Most people thought I was mad when I got it. Apparently, I'm supposed to drive a sensible car at my age....

ALways wanted one of those when they 1st came out Graham......ended up with a Ford Probe 24V instead

I have a mad scooter
 Good fun to ride  , but have to considerate a fair bit, the car wants to go air born at time's . Get some reel funny looks as wel l , need to be a bit vain which I am not(although you may not thinks so looking at the bike) so am quite self concise in built up areas.

I was a private hire driver for a while (after a big tax bill £75.000) and I had a ford orion that I called Christine, when you turned the engine off and took the keys out, shut the door and walked away, the engine was still running. Dont know if that counts as mad or possesed!

well i did have a normal mazda 323f special edition ( old type) until some sod ran into it while it was parked outside the house and then drove off leaving my car a complete write off ! Coming up for 4 weeks ago and still no money from insurance but they have out the kindness of their hearts taken away my courtesy car and put my no claims from 67% down to 45%......... first and only claim in 14 years!
