Straight back to work for me today so no chance of going shopping to look for any bargains.

Re: Anyone picked up a bargain from the Sales ?

Well, my BG-E2 Canon battery grip was a bargain but not really in the sales as I got it on Ebay, brand new from a UK seller and paid £95 including postage and packing. That is £40 less than the cheapest I was able to find from a nromal online or offline retailer: Park cameras (brilliant company, great service and usually good prices) who were doing a special offer of £130 plus P&P.

I have just returned from a three day trip to Edinburgh where I took lots of photos and that grip was FANTASTIC! Having two batteries installed meant I didn't need to look at how much charge I had left.... at all! Taking photos in portrait rather than landscape mode is way more comfortable than the usual 'hand-over' mode. I won't say more as I shall write a review instead.

Cheers,
Rob
