Call of duty 4 "Modern Warfare"

Ok, I know this is really sad for an almost 39 year old but are there any members here who play COD 4, I got this for Christmas and "WOW" what a game, got about half way through the single player stuff then decided to try the online experience.
Getting your a### shot off by teenagers who are way better than you is an experience but so much fun when you get them back. It really is intense. Just wondered if there are enough sad people like me we could maybe set up a Team Pixalo Deathmatch and blow each other up and stuff.
Canon against Nikon users or something.
If not ill

I just can't bring myself to play a Call of Duty game, but if you find something else suitable (TEAM FORTRESS 2) then perhaps we can work something out

I finished it just before Xmas, now the Wii has arrived (for the kids of course !!) I've not had a chance to play COD again. Never played it online but I used to play CounterStrike with a few mates, its such a laugh to turnaround and shoot your mates !!

I don't think that it is available for the ps 2.
@Ian, got a bit stuck on one of the levels, you take out some bloke at a meeting then a helicopter, rope down a building and all hell lets loose, tried blowing a few away then using their guns ( shotguns are great) but is it just a case of try try die die again?
@MB, Ive never been that bothered with the earlier incarnations of COD but COD4 is really one hell of a game, they have moved away from the ww2 format and I find it soooo addictive.
@simp. I know the feeling well!!!
@OP can you just log onto the ps network and play? Oh and Bring it on!!!

I had a go at it round a mate's house, played that level that looks like the b&w TV footage where your in a helicopter firing at the enemy... have to admit, it was excellent!!!

Doubt it. And if you could you wouldn't want PC players on. They tried it with the Dreamcast Vs PC players with Quake 3 many moons ago. Lets just say even the worst PC players could maul your average dreamcast player. Something to do with the disparity of control mechanisms. Maybe that's been resolved now... I'm not a console bod.

Re: Call of duty 4 "Modern Warfare"

It's the level after the one where you are a sniper, you are at the top of a tower block with 1 friendly and you take out some bloke who arrives in a car, then you shoot the pilot of a helicopter and then you run, you have 20 minutes to survive till a friendly helicopter can evac you, and there is a big Ferris Wheel.
