As some of yous will know I've started to grow me own veg, so to get a bit more help i thought id buy a green house, so went to this store seen the display model they had & ordered it, 6x6 triple-glaze polycarbonate, 2 weeks later they phoned to say it was ready for collection so went down to the store to get it, 1 hour later i was still standing there waiting for collection, then they said they couldn't find it, the manager then come down & said that they would deliver it the next morning, next morning they delivered as they said, i took the collection & then thought to me-self that it seemed very light for what i had so i opened up the box with the polycarbonate sheets in it ,took 1 out to see it to find it was a single sheet of what the called polycarbonate & it was no thicker than about 1-1-5mm something like you would find your fruit or veggies boxed in, any way took it straight back to get a refund as i was not happy with it & while i was there went to the display greenhouse just to make sure i was right, after getting things sorted out i was told the the display was last years model & wait for it the picture in the brochure was different from what they were supplying because they had another manufacture. Anyway got me money back & went to Argos instead & ordered there, 6x6 glass this time delivered at the start of July. Typical of these big places with big windows, selling nothing but el cheapo stuff & anything with a good name on it you couldn't buy it because they put a telephone number on it as their price.

have to say the glass will do a better job........ in a previous lifetime i was often to be found in my greenhouse well into the night. grew all my own flowers had tatties and tomatoes ( tatties grew round the base of the tomatoes, a great way of saving space!) u will soon become addicted to it all.
