Got me computer back yesterday evening fixed, the problem was the Lan card settings, everything was wiped off it & the only thing we can think of that might of caused it was an electrical storm

glad to get it back cause there's only so many times you can ask to borrow someone else's computer.

Pleased to hear it's well again.

It may be worth looking at an uninterruptible power supply (UPS). They're fairly cheap nowadays and protect against mains spikes and power cuts.
