Just tried to tax mine on line .......transpires my MOT ran out 2 months ago
Had to declare the dam thing SORN cos ive only got till next tuesday otherwise id get fined
Decided im gonna leave it till im back off holiday,
Was gonna take the thing to Dorset next weekend looks like the Audis gonna go instead, still at least ill save myself about £600 in fuel!!

Taxed till end of June , Insured till next May, Mot .......just off to the testing station officer plod, You are allowed to drive the crate on the highway if it is MOT related going the shortest distance possible.

I thought it had to be booked in for the MOT in advance and you could only drive it to that appointment?

lol - and I thought I was bad. Went to pull out the paperwork for the new tax on 31st June, thinking how late I had left it, only to discover that the MoT expired the previous Friday

This time around I peeled off that sticker and affixed to the inside of the windscreen - this is gonna be the last time!

Ooopps! If you check the small print you are advised not to put it on glass. Could now be a permanent fixture

Ha! It says on there to peel it off and 'affix' to the inside of your windscreen.

Anyway, I have no fear of stickers on glass. Razor blade, or the blade from a stanley knife works every time.

THE DVLA DON'T NO WHAT THEY ARE DOING EITHER. WE BOUGHT ANOTHER VEHICLE ON THE 25TH OF LAST MONTH, GOT THE COVER NOTE FROM INSURANCE COMPANY ON 26TH
WENT TO LOCAL LICENSING OFFICE ON 27TH TO CHANGE TAXATION CLASS TO DIABLED
AND ALSO TO TAX IT.

I WAS TOLD NEW REGISTRATION DOCUMENT WOULD TAKE ABOUT FIFTEEN DAYS, WELL IT TURNED UP LAST THURSDAY, 3RD JULY, BUT THEY HAD SPELLED MY NAME WRONG,
ALSO HAD NOT CHANGED TAXATION CLASS, STILL PRIVATE LIGHT GOODS.

I PHONED THE DVLA AND POINTED THE MISTAKES OUT TO THEM, OK THEY SAID WE WILL SEND YOU ANOTHER ONE.
WELL THIS MORNING ANOTHER ONE ARRIVED, THE NAME WAS RIGHT BUT STILL NOT CHANGED THE TAXATION CLASS.

ANOTHER PHONE CALL TO DVLA, POINTED THE MISTAKE OUT AGAIN, OH WE ARE TERRIBLY SORRY, THERE IS ANOTHER ONE ON IT'S WAY TO YOU, WORDS FAIL ME
HOW CAN THEY GET SOMETHING SO SIMPLE WRONG TWICE.

I HAVE KEPT THEIR PHONE NUMBER HANDY,IF I HAVE TO PHONE THEM AGAIN NEXT WEEK
