In this household we have had a discussion to the tune that apparently i didnt ask it to marry me!! Just wondering all those out there was it a bended knee job or "Ur backsides down the aisle end of story"
I never asked i admit and the last 25 years i aint stopped! Have gained 4 kids on route youngest 15 eldest 23, 2 of each and gimme boys anyday girls u can keep em!!

Was 'it' allowed a career as well or did you just chain her to the sink to have your babies?

As a 'lad' I can say that his comment doesn't impress me

I would never speak about the mother of my children (if I had any) and my life long partner in this way, joking or not. I do wonder what his wife thinks about being referred to as 'it' if she even knows?

However, who am I to judge.

As a lad of 74 years some 47 of which i have been fortunate enough to spend with my wife iam completely unimpressed.

Wait till "they" get married.
Give me daughters anytime. My wife & I have more grief our my sons other half than we do with our daughters other have.

Sorry uve lost me on that last post!! Our 2 boys are so laid back and drift along, whilst the two daughters have been abit firey to say the least although the eldest now 20 has quitened down alot, and is now giving the BF some greif rather than me!!

It just goes to show you can't generalize the antics of the opposite sexes.

My two's Grandfather was heard to say, that he would not have thought his two Grandchildren were brought up in the same household because they were so different. They were early teenagers at the time and 18 months apart.
