Im gettin my fathers day present Sunday - my son is coming home from South Korea after being gone 13 months !! Cant Wait. been counting the days.

Had a fantastic day yesterday, got woken up at 6.30am with my eldest daughter (5yrs) home made card about 5mm from my face (scared the life out of me !!). The weather held off long enough for us all to go to our local carnival, and then chinese for dinner.

Great stuff Ian

Let's hear what you other fathers got up to on Fathers Day!

I sent my Dad a framed photo of our family reunion (last Xmas), which showed him with us 3 'kids' + his granddaughter (my daughter). I called it "3 Generations". Sadly, even though I packed it really well + printed "fragile" all over it, the glass was broken when it arrived But he was well pleased with it

well after an exciting day on Saturday grouting the tiles in the bathroom for Fathers day i get a set of paint brushes, and discover a new pot of paint in the garage.
think someone's trying to drop a hint

oh and a bottle of wine ( thats gone now ) didn't last long

Got my Fathers day present - My son arrived from Korea safe and sound - suffering from Jet lag and tired ,but OK(sleeping now) . So - Im happy! He had planned on coming home the "long way" -visitng the UK and Ireland - but decided to get here on Fathers day and went to Tokyo - then straight on in to Kansas City. That was giving up alot - just to get here on fathers day.

That's great news Stretch

I got home from work at 10am, a bit tired not having slept for over 24 hours. Card and pressey from my Son who still lives at home and then to bed. Up again at about 4, and ten minutes later my other Son appears with girlfriend and Grand Son! Another card and pressey then a nice family day and dinner before off to work again at 9.30. (After I washed up, obviously!)
