Greetings from my hospital bed

I only went and fell off my ladder (first time in over 20 years) and snapped my left leg in 4 places

Been dosed up on morphine for 2 days now and feel like poo poo

still ive got my laptop and harddrives and plenty of time to play around with some pics so its not all bad

Its snowing outside and im going to miss all those snow shots so post me yours and cheer me up

Hey Dave, so sorry to hear about the accident. That sounds like a nasty break and I guess you're going to be laid up for a while.

I have to say I feel sorry for the nurses, none of them are safe now.... well, maybe the male nurses <g> Be nice to them and before you make any wise cracks, just remember who you'll be relying on to bring you a bottle when you need one! You do NOT want to be kept waiting <g>

Seriously though, our thoughts are with you and we wish you a speedy recovery.

Sorry, never any snow down here on the south coast so can't help you with any pics here, I think Scotland is in for plenty this weekend so maybe Fi can help

And I thought jamming a screwdriver half an inch into my hand was bad enough!!

4 places - nasty. Hope they're simple breaks, get well soon.

From what ive heard and seen

its my trib and fib? 2 breaks on each and i was VERY lucky it very nearly poped out my skin. Had to wait 50 minutes for an ambulance to turn up even though the station is less than 1 minute away

i cant begin to describe the pain i was in (and still am to some degree)

Anyway had the op, had enough morphine to knock out an elephant and got lots of sweets next to my bed, nurses are kind and ive got the next 6_8 weeks off work

ill try and take a pic of my xray and post here for all you squeemish ones
