First published pics!

I've just had four images used for this months Chiltern & Thames Rider magazine, an equestrian magazine covering the South East, East Midlands and Oxfordshire etc. Paid and credited.

Not the most famous of magazines

but it's a start. They really liked this image but the best bit is that I am now one of their 'preferred photographers' and they will be using me to cover some events in the future.

its a great feeling the first time you get a shot published. The added advantage is that in this case you have also managed to get their 'preferred photographers' title and status too, that can only assist you more for the future.

Like the angle & use of wide lens as well.

Excellent going, very well done. I have a great respect for anyone who's able to get a good image of competing horses. I remember i had to cover the Grand National once, standing on the opposite side and just up a bit from the Grandstand at Aintree, despite my colleague warning me, nothing quite prepares you for what 20+ racehorses charging at full pelt less than a foot from your nose feels like. Needless to say my pics were hopeless.

Anyway v.well done, Bravo!
