Food Glorious Food
I can eat a whole tin of Ambrosia rice pudding all by myself
Especially love the one with sultanas + nutmeg mmmmmmmmmmmNow, before you think this post should be in the "none really" thread I am interested to know everyone else's food cravings ... talking of which, I was a chocoholic of note when I was pregnant ... we're talking 4-5 bars a day here snickers, mars, double-decker, aero, crunchie, the list goes on, anything would do LOL. The MOST shocking part of all this is that I only just told my hubby about this the other day (a well-kept secret for 3 years ) Why didn't I let him know I was gorging myself on chocies, like any normal pregnant woman? Well I guess it was just guilt at being such a piggy especially as we were on a budget + I wouldn't often buy chocies for anyone else at home, but meanwhile I was gobbling them myself at work How wicked is that ![]()

Re: Food Glorious Food
I don't think that I have cravings. I have never been pregnant.
However, I LOVE stone crab (indigenous to south florida) with a crisp french bread and real french champagne, no matter how cheap. It takes nearly 2 hours to eat. skip |

Softshell crab sushi rolls and/or baked scallop rolls. I can eat it every day all day. And crepes.

Re: Food Glorious Food
Ah, Charlotte, the only thing for me that stilton is good with is a lovely vintage port.
But it is usually so warm here, that I don't drink that often, even tho I have some in my "cellar". On the other hand, I stuff my martini olives with a standard blue cheese. It works for me. Who says I am hedonistic??? skip skip |
