Why is it that when I try to open the Gallery, I only get black squares and red X's but no pictures??

Are you using IE? If so then you must ensure that the Show Pictures checkbox is selected on the Advanced tab of the Internet Options dialogue box. If that dont work post back.

A number of Personal Firewalls, such as Norton Personal Firewall, block ads by looking for images within a web page that match one or more of the "standard" ad sizes used by online advertisers. If a match is found, it will block viewing of the image. If you have such a Personal Firewall installed on your computer and are having a problem viewing some images in this site, please disable ad blocking or include the www.pixalo.com in the ad ignore list.

To do this do the following:

Open Norton Internet Security, Click on Norton Antispam> add blocking> Configure> Advanced.

Add site, in this case 'www.pixalo.com'> OK> Add> Permit>www.pixalo.com

Click OK> OK> OK.

The user should now be able to see your site, if not they need to press 'ctrl+f5' for a forced refresh.

Thanks for the advice. I have checked the "Show Pictures" tab and it is checked. I am runing Zone Alarm as my Firewall and can find no trace of Pixalo in the programmes list so looks like I am stuck.

Hi Ron, have you tried temporarily deactivating the firewall to see if the pictures show?

Also note Pixalo is not a Programme, but the internet address. Anybody else use Zone Alarms who may be able to help Ron with settings ?
