Dare say there will soon be alot of cars for sale with some dodgy deals with damaged engines and fuel systems after more and more people are using and stealing heating oil. If u dont use a additive it dont take long to do damage.

A 1:1 mix will give you enough additive to get by on and the occasional full tank of diesel will also help.

I wonder how the sales of diesel additives from places like Halfords is going at present.

I also wonder if the C&E roadside testing teams will start paying more attention to private cars now - probably not as it is still the large truck companies that pose most risk of revenue loss.

2nd that, it can be an expensive business if you have to replace your fuel pump because of dodgy diesel, £1200 + depending on what you drive.
