I'd love to be in forensics. Finding traces of evidence, testing it for blood etc. Analyzing evidence to retrace the last steps of a victim's life + find his/her murderer. Putting together pieces of a puzzle. Fascinating!

If you could, what would you like to be?

I don't think I could do that job Charlotte

Although one of the forensic team investigating the murder outside my place on Sunday was a very nice looking young lady

she was laid on the floor photographing the body that lay under a car.......and she was shooting with a Nikon!

Police Helicopter spotter

Wanted to be in Air Sea Rescue when I left school, but was short sighted. Two years after starting work they changed the rules

Had a mad ride in a Bell Jetranger about 10 years ago and didn't stop smiling for a week.

Just a computer engineer now bored out of my skull and I reckon too old and lazy to change

OK, Lewis Hamilton head removed ....... I think any role to do with saving wildlife that has been so ruined by man. Working in some remote part of Africa, saving potential extinct animals would be quite humbling

The only thing I regret not having done is learning to fly - preferably with the aid of some sort of aircraft. On the other hand, not learning to fly has probably saved an awful lot of money, and I have enough trouble right now with a model helicopter.

Something similar but I wish I'd known there was such a job as a Forensic Anthropologist when I was deciding my career path!

Iv'e been an optimist all my life

. My glass is always half full and never half empty.

My only regret is not being able to play a musical instrument preferably a piano/keyboard.

Ah so you'd like to reconstruct decomposed human remains + skeletons. Dead end job if you ask me

Just kidding, that would be interesting but I don't think I could do it all day. I'd enjoy the variety of general forensics. Just don't ask me to disect an eyeball

I hope kids of today are being told about a wider variety of jobs than when I was at school - everyone was expected to study for + become a doctor, nurse, vet, lawyer or secretary

It's never too late to learn, and you can get a respectable keyboard for less than the price of a good lens.

P.S. As a typical engineer, I think the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.
