Just had my new Sd card delivered by a post man in a Van , it would not fit through the letter box

In this day and age of recycling why do they have to pack it like this

What would've been even more annoying is if you'd all been out, + since it wouldn't fit thru the letterbox, you'd have received a little ticket telling you to go fetch it from the P.O. ... I hate when that happens 'specially if it's something you can't wait for, but it's too late to go to the P.O., so you have to wait 'til the next day to go get it

Yes I know what you mean, when I am expecting a parcel to be delivered it is like a waiting game from about 8am onwards itching too get your hands on this new item whatever it may be, but when it gets around too 12 noon and still no sign of a parcel your patience starts to go dare I go to the loo or go out in the garden for that washing, and don't they just always knock on these occasions, can't wait to get the parcel indoors to get it opened and inspected but isn't it a terrible let down if after all that waiting if you have been sent the wrong item or the item is damaged and has to go back you might just have well stayed in bed.

My particular 'bugbear' with the mail is when they deliver mail that is intended for somebody else two streets away and then some stranger fetches yours that has been delivered to them two days previously I wouldn't mind but it NEVER happens to the bills!
