Mobile Phones - Bluetooth Jacking

Have just been watching reruns of "the Hustlers" on TV. Basically showing you all the current cons.

One that was quite frightening was the Conmen using a PDA with bluetooth that scanned for anyone within distance with a Bluetooth enabled Mobile. They then connected & used the persons phone to call a premium rate line, that you guessed it , they own. All this goes on without the phone owner knowing anything They stackd up a few hundred quid on no time across multiple phones.

Their advice was to switch off blue tooth until you need it on your mobile

I'm safe with my ancient phone then
