Moving on up!

Having been with the photo agency Camera Press since September of last year, I have finally managed to use my experience as leverage to move up to become a photographer for a major internatonal agency: WireImage

I'm absolutely ecstatic that WireImage have taken me onboard, since I now have access to a far wider audience for my work than ever before. As much as Camera Press has longevity and a seriously heavyweight reputation (Lichfield, Snowdon, McCartney etc. as contributors), WireImage - in six short years since their foundation - has become a major player in the global syndicated photography market.

I do my first shoot for WireImage in Newcastle on Saturday 28th; covering the celeb arrivals at the Rainbow Trust Anniversary Ball in the Hilton Hotel - naturally I'll post a follow-up to tell you all how it goes

Thanks for all the well-wishes, folks; I'm just back from my first shoot for them... well, it evolved from a one-hour red carpet shoot into an overnight stay in a 5-star hotel - more info in a separate thread, methinks
