Got my new guitar today (ebay), exactly as said, and despite my little mistake (er...I paid for it twice...), seller was really good about it and refunded immediately, nice guy.

Also went to the Steve Vai concert last night, great! Although I preferred the Satch (Joe Satriani) one, this was still amazing

a few of us are kinda in the process of making a band although its came to a bit of a standstill recently!

Basically that is the same as me, I mean, we have supposedly been in a band for about 3 years, but nothing has ever happened. Two of the people in the band () started much earlier with music, so are at a different level, and have kinda different musical tastes than the other two...I really want to play live (eek), but it's just not happening atm.... literally...

Okay - I'll ask - what guitar did you buy?

As for playing live - great buzz coupled with great fear before you go on. Played a few known places (nothing big) - Fleece & Firkin in Bristol, Moles Club in Bath and Bath College of Higher Education - that last one was a biggie - came out to a sea of faces going back as far as you could see - scary stuff but we played well and the crowd loved it - the feeling that gives you is fantastic.

It's nothing special, only a Vintage V6 icon, as a project guitar, I wanna see how good i can get it doing all the hardware changes myself. I already have an Ibanez Radius, so I can't really justify a new guitar, but....it's the holiday....
