No More Photography For A While
As the title says i wont be doing any photography for the forseeable future as i had an accident an shattered my elbow. I had to get it reconstructed with metal plates an pins an i cant hold anything with it for 6 to 8 months. There is considerable weight in my camera equipment an i dont want to push it so i wont be pushing it

That sounds very nasty
 Hopefully you will have a full and quick recovery, in the mean time you can use the oppotunity to read up on our favourite topic, photography techniques, PS techniques and everything else that interests you. So that when you are back to full health again you will be raring to go and try out all your new found knowledge and skills  Don't become a stranger

Thanks everyone for the kind words, unfortinatly ive lost about 70% use of my arm as in movement but it could have been a lot worse

Hope all goes well for you, Stevie. You could always try getting someone to set up your camera on a tripod for you. Then you could do a bit of photography using the pan/tilt head with your good arm.
Maybe Woody can give you some tips. Keep ypur chin up. |

I am so sorry to hear that Stevie. you must have been in a lot of pain. I wish you a speedy recovery and a return to good use of the arm, even if it doesn't get 100% strength back. Please do stick around on here and chat with us all and maybe show us a few of your older pics in the meantime.

Damn Stevie that's terrible mate, I hope the loss of arm movement isn't a permenant thing?... hope it heels up soon mate, you'll be back using the 5D before you know it!
