Not again!

Back in the film days I had a brace of Pentax LXs and one had a tiny red beetle inside the pentaprism, it lived there for more than two years, wombling across the viewfinder image, Yesterday I was at the museum with my 5D Mk3 and .....
there was a tiny black beetle crossing the viewfinder image!
How it got there I can only think is via the dioptre adjuster.
At least it can't get to the mirror chamber and thus onto the sensor (I hope).
Has anyone else had this and how did you remove it.

Re: Not again!

Charles, Try putting the camera in a sealed plastic bag and put in the freezer for a couple of days. Remove the batteries first. I did this with a Bronica many years ago when I saw a tiny mite with four young ones walking behind it. It seemed to have worked, did the camera no harm. Let us know.
Colin.
