Was out a couple of days ago and it came to tip down with rain. One of our number had a Leica P&S thingy which he carried without any protection from the elements:
"Film?" I asked
"No, digital" he replied
"Ummm, weatherproofed then?"
"I'll find out when I get home....... but it's still working now"
Class! But then he only needs to shift one pic to pay for it a few times over. And yes, he aims for getting it right in-camera and minimal PS

Hey one and all!

Until recently, I was of the mind set that says the picture one takes should be the end product. I always thought people were cheating when they manipuated images. However, I now feel that pictures may be manipulated in order to gain a result which is preferred by the person who will be looking at the image, i.e. the person I sell it to
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and if someone likes your shot...with a tweak or two, then tweak the shot! It gets your picture out there and appreciated as much as possible!
