Quandary
So, I've got £3000 burning a hole in my pocket.
Do I buy a Canon 300 2.8L lens £2848, or a Lowden S25 Jazz Guitar £2495. |

Re: Quandary
BIG DECISION JOHN, WHAT WOULD YOU GET MOST USE FROM? YOU CAN'T TAKE PICTURES WITH A GUITAR AND YOU CAN'T PLAY CHORDS WITH A CAMERA.
I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS PARTICULAR GUITAR,BUT IN MY OPINION MOST INSTRUMENTS DEPRECIATE VERY QUICK ESPECIALLY IF THEY HAVE BEEN GIGGED A LOT. I THINK IF YOU GET A 1959 OR EARLY 1960'S FENDER STRAT YOU WILL NEVER HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT DEPRECIATION. HOW MANY GUITARS HAVE YOU GOT IN RELATION TO CAMERAS AND LENSES? |

Re: Quandary
Woody I wouldn't buy an instrument, or much else for that matter based really at all on it's value continuation. If you like the guitar, then go for it. Not heard of that one, and naturally I'd be buying a custom or a high end Ibanez, or lots of other guitars
![]() I'd go for the guitar in this case though, not sure how much you need the lens given your current kit

Lowdens are the best acoustic guitars you can get, made from the finest tone woods available. Once you pick one of these up you can't put them down. I was thinking along that line myself. Conclusion: I think I'll have to toss a coin. |
