Not familier with these units, but I suggest that a good look around the pocketgpsworld.co.uk site will probably turn up reviews of a lot of the systems currently available. The forums will give you a flavour of what people think of the various systems and what problems they have.

Also, the globalpositioningsystems web site, although essentially a selling site, also has a customer reviews section for every item.

Some time ago the Which? test rated the Garmin Strretpilot V3 (I think - from memory!) - it was the very small unit that was being sold in most places for around £120 six months ago. The TT1 came second.
