I just logged in to PIxalo where I found a note about my lack of input recently.
After a recent periodic visit to my Hospital eye clinic the consultant told me that i should be registered as partially sighted,Although I have been having my eye condition treated and monitored over along period this gave me a nasty jolt..Since then i have been depressed and lacking interest in photography among other things..I am i think becoming more positive .now.Hopefully i will be more active in the future.

I'd noticed that you had not posted much recently, but had also noted that you were still visiting the site. I did wonder if your eye problem had been behind this.

I guess that this development must have been a kick in the teeth for you, especially when not so long ago it seemed that things were at least stabilising.

I'm sure you must know that the friends you have here would love to see you participating on the site, and if you are understandibly not in the mood to be using your camera as much as you used to, you can still chat with us and add your input to the discussions.

I think the message you got was probably an automated one, but perhaps it has done us all a favour if it has given you an incentive to join in again. You are still a part of our community after all.

Maybe participating in the forums will fire you up again and you can start posting pictures when you are ready to do so.

Completely agree with Graham, you are missed on the site FB, and please dont let the fact that your enthusiasm for taking photographs has understandably waned slightly, after all, don't see why we should go without your banter and knowledge just cos you dont wanna take a pic!

on a serious note im am glad that you are finding things a bit more positive. heres hoping it continues and you will be out and about with your camera in thenear future!

Good to hear from you FB Even though you + I haven't had an awful lot of direct dialogue, I have missed your contributions to the site + wondered where you've been!

Sorry to hear you're having problems, but glad your depression is beginning to lift, as that is a good sign that high spirits will help you to cope with your eyesight problem.

Even if you're not uploading pic's, don't be a stranger - we still value your input, be it commenting on pic's or just chat/banter
