And the point of this thread is

Well going to see how this OM lens fairs and if it works will pick up a couple more. Also should be setting up a studio after we move so all the gubbins for that. Would like to get my hands on a Olympus OM 35mm and also an E-1 to play with as well.

Looking for a new CF tripod & recommended by yous guys here was the velbon sherpa cf535, am very interested in it but the only thing that am not 100% about is the height it would be for me as am 6ft so thinking about the cf635 that's just that wee bit bigger in height, but while doing some searching I've come across the walimex-6692 pro + magnesium head & its slightly cheaper at £109.90 +£ 12.00 p&p from a dealer in Germany 99.6% positive & the tripod has got good reviews from other users, what do yous think?

Next purchase? MMM? just bought a 430ex flashgun from another member. Maybe tubes to do macro? My Mrs and I share kit so whatever one gets the other benefits from.

I think this is a good move - to get the height with the 535 you need to have the centre column right up and I think that this is the weak link for this tripod. It's OK for a shortie like me, but for taller people it could be an issue. The one you found sounds good.
