Re: Stranger than strange!

I have certainly learned that creativity is in the eye of the person who presents his work here. Another words,,you have to take almost everything with a grain of salt because they see it different. The big plus is that when you find an artist photographer on here that you are inspired by, you grow by leaps and bounds,,,very very helpful and fun.

I am suprised anyone responded to this post.

Anyhoo, I visit here daily but tend to look at others work as opposed to posting my own.

Re: Stranger than strange!

To help keep a balance between comments and posting, I will stick one in photo critique to let the rest put back what they have recieved from me, I tend to tell a little story when answering. How's that for a bowl of SOUP,,,

Re: Stranger than strange!

I'm with you, Soupdragon. I like looking at the photos others have taken rather than anything I've done.

Boofers - now I have to go off in search of one of your "stories" - I like a good story.

Re: Stranger than strange!

Of course the story is about me and my adventures, but it can be concidered learn from your mistakes. I Read and Read about HDR, and set out to pull in a whole bunch of exposures, we hiked and hiked to a place full of fall colors, me and the wife,,I was so caught up in the wonderment of where we were and what I was about to do that I forgot to set my camera in Aperture mode,,,months later I join this group and of course the depth of field was off in my picture that I posted and everybody told me so,,,I quietly looked at the meta data and figured it out. I later deleted the picture, I was looking for some respect in trying but that was great, it's one for the blur book of keeping focus of what your really trying to shoot. There you go,, a little story....I never ever forget about switching modes now, atleast so far...
