Re: Stress Release

I have taken to sitting on the balcony in the early evening sun, listening to some chill out music with an ice cold beer, while watching the sun set...does that count

Re: Stress Release

I plug in my Strat, turn it up to 11, and play until my wrists ache. Then I play for 2 more songs. That always helps me walk away feeling much better.

My favorite band is Pearl Jam, if you're not a fan, some good songs for when your stressed

A man with good taste. My missus is a big fan too, saw them recently at a small gig in London and we're off to see them in France later this year.

Music is a definite stress relief for me... and thrashing about on my mountain bike... and red wine.

Re: Stress Release

Another fan here....have 3 of their CD's.

Must admit after a drunken night down the pub I always used to like to come back to the house & play "Echoes" from Meddle, Pink Floyd. Now there's a track you can lose yourself to

Did you see them at that jools holland thing? Where did you see them? Is your wife a big enough fan to frequent their forums? Sorry so many questions! Have you seen them many times? You say your wife's a big fan too, thats cool. My wife loves them too.

Re: Stress Release

jools holland - just watched it on tv, tickets were like gold dust. We saw them at the Astoria and had enough trouble getting tickets for that as we were away in India when it was announced... asked everyone we know that might be able to get their hands on tickets (newspaper editors, NME writers, people in the music industry etc etc) but eventually had to resort to ebay. Ah well, was worth every penny.

I'd not seen them before - missus saw them last time they were in the UK. And yeah I think she does frequent their forums occasionally.
