Last night we put up with thumping bass from what we thought was some local party until 6am Many people in the village had phoned the police in the night to no avail. Tonight at 7pm the bass started again Off I went in my car to find source of noise, expecting it to be local. Imagaine my surprise when I find myself 5 miles away following hoards of youngsters in cars to an organised Rave !!!

So lets get this straight I can hear the music , inside the house through double glazing form 5 miles away. So I phone the police, only to be told they can do nothing, as the local council "tewkesbury" has licensed the event. Even though they are getting hundereds of complaints, they can do nothing

Currently finishing bottle of wine to ones self , with earplugs ready to insert .......... Dave calling out (hopefully) to catch you tomorrow.

I've heard we had something similar up here last night.....didn't hear it myself although I can hear the karaoke at the local at the moment

I used to get knarked at the drunken revelers passing my flat at the weekend. That is until they started building a hotel 20m from my bedroom. Now I know what sustained noise is all about.

Can't you remember being a youth, you old bugger I think a little bit of noise is better than all the violence and vandalism the teenagers would probably have been up to if they had nothing to do

Yeah! Well, I'm writing a letter to Tewkesbury council to applaud their humour (well, I thought it funny!) and another to the organisers suggesting they pop around to Dave's and charge him a fee for listening!
