Went to local tip in sons van this afternoon, one black bag of teenage daughters bedroom junk with one piece of cardboard on the top, put it in "Non recyclable" when a muppit came over and said "The cardboards over there if u do wanna recycle p@ss off" And thats the service u get from the local council who i begrugingly pay £1500 a year to in tax. certainly "Service witha smile"
A phone will be made in the morning to his bosses. Certainly got rid of some stuff thou.

Well why didn't you just recycle the cardboard in the paper section and then dump the 'daughters bedroom junk' in the correct section as you should have done in the first place? You wouldn't have been met with an employee who is probably sick to the back teeth or saying the same thing to people who just don't follow simple instructions

I agree his language and attitude was wrong but the fault here is yours IMO

My dad and I hired a small peugeot van to take the remainder of the old house stuff to the tip

20 miles trip because we couldnt find the first one, get to the one in nuneaton only to be told to sod off as we hadnt got a permit
