glad to see its back up and running,........ is everything sorted now. i tried to upload a couple pics a wee while ago and they disappeared even tho it said they had uploaded successfully.........

Investigating. It looks like there could be a problem with uploads to Gallery

The gallery problem is due to GD2 (a required module that creates thumbnails) now being missing off the server. We had to completey rebuild the server this afternoon to correct a corrupted Apache install. The server techs neglected to include GD2 whilst doing that.

I have been informed that they are now recompiling and rebuilding Apache again with the required modules. I am unsure if that means taking the server off line again but I guess we'll know soon enough...

No matter what happens Steve, I for one believe we all will be here and continue to support Pixalo!!

On the GD2 matter:
I think they can recompile everything again in a new location, and then just "switch" when it's done. Think that's how I did it when I installed my last webserver (which is about a year ago).

At last
I have spent all day trying to come onto Pixalo, I thought it was my ISP and was beginning to panic. It is suprising that when something is missing it is the only thing you think about.
I have not tried anything as yet {I will wait until tomorrow} but I am so pleas to see my favorite site is back with me again

I just pray that when I come back online tomorrow I will find Pixalo still around and not in some third dimension
