Now I have bought from them before but:

1) I have no interest in farming practices / machinery
2) I do not smoke, so therefore have no need for a book on stopping smoking
3) Considering the amount of flying I have done this year already, I am certainly not afraid of getting on a plane.

I think they need to revise their recommendation criteria.....

Yes, thanks!

I think their 'personal recommendations' are based on whatever they have too much of in their warehouse.

Re: Weird email from Amazon

Hi Ian
You have to use lateral thinking with Amazon {and also believe there is a person on Pialo that works for them} As you said your photos were Farm themed therefore the person fully expects you to be in or around the farming area {hence all the books on that subject}
The fact you plan your photos carefully with lots of thinking first denotes the thought that you stand around and poss smoke {hence the quite smoking book} and the fact you did not do a photo on hights for the last fortnightly theme from an aircraft says to them you could be afraid of flying {hence that book}
See it is so easy to understand given a bit of thought, all you now need to find out is who on this site works for Amazon
Regards
Sparhawk

The one thing that blows Sparhawk's theory is there is not 'How to take decent Pictures' onthe list.
