20D - Movie Mode

So like me you thought the 20D didn't have a movie mode?

Someone made a movie with it...

Here is a magazine interview where he tells how he did it....

I have made a 'movie' with my 20D - nothing so grand as the above... shot something that was rotating slowly on burst (with small jpg so it just keeps going) and put the frames into a gif file.

I have seen this before - nowhere near as long as that one. TFS.

It's kinda like those people that race customised lawn mowers. Sure, it can be done, but why not race cars?

Just for the record, tim burton's 'the corpse bride' was shot entirely on canon 1dsmk2's. Several of them. Now I wonder what they did with them when they'd finished with them?

There is an article here
http://www.editorsguild.com/newslett...g05_bride.html
about the 'corpse bride'

Intersting use of DSLR's, for those with lots of spare time

Very interesting, I had never contemplated the use of dSLRs for this purpose despite it being blatantly obvious

And did I read that right, $90,000 of Nikon glass

Thanks for the links people
