Adobe elements 9 for mac

TO anyone THAT IS thinking of downloading the 30 day trial of elements 9.

I thought i would try this yesterday, after it taking roughly an hour and a half to download, when i tried to open it, it said, your trial version has now ended, i tried again with the same result.

I did a google search, to see if other people have had this problem and found that there are, i found a link for adobe download trouble shooting, got on a live chat with an adobe advisor and was told there is nothing they can do about it, the only thing they suggested was to buy the serial code, which from them is £76+.

Anyone wanting to buY it amazon are selling the boxed version for £53

Re: Adobe elements 9 for mac

What is in 9 that is one up on 8 that makes it the one to get. If your camera is covered in ACR and that's what you use I wouldn't worry about it. But it's your need that counts,

Re: Adobe elements 9 for mac

IT WAS JUST CURIOSITY REALLY, I JUST WANTED TO SEE THE FEATURES IT HAD.
I HAVE CS3 AT THE MOMENT, BUT CANNOT JUSTIFY UPGRADING TO CS5.

IT STATED ON ADOBE SITE, THAT ELEMENTS 9, USES SOME OF THE FEATURES IN CS5, SO I THOUGHT I WOULD HAVE A LOOK.

Have you tried using the software that came with your camera as suggested earlier? If that allows you to save/export in tiff or jpg you can then do any final touched in CS3.

Re: Adobe elements 9 for mac

Just today it went on sale on the Mac App Store for £54.99, direct download and install to your Mac. I haven't bought it, yet. I'm fairly new to Macs and have one called Pixelmator which I got on the App Store for £20.99. There's also a full version of Linux favourite, The Gimp, available in OSx flavour, free gratis and for nothing. As I came from Ubuntu to OSx, there was no real learning curve.
