Re: adobe lightroom
Well, I just d/l and ran it. I still think the lay-out and interface is awful. Nothing to tear me away from RSP although I am aware that purchasers of new model cameras will need something other than RSE/P.
If I have to move in the future it looks like Bibble will get my mullah. Thanks for the heads-up guys. |

Re: adobe lightroom
fiona lightroom is more of a photo catalogue/raw viewer/convertor........a bit light adobe bridge which comes with cs2 allows you to adjust exposure of raw files etc before further cs2 work....hope this helps

Re: adobe lightroom
I don't really think that Adobe have caught the boat on this one. Philis right about what it's intentions are but IMHO.....there are better organisers and viewers (Zoombrowser and Picaso), better RAW converters (RSP, CS2, Bibble) and he interface seems so cluttered because of trying to include everything. I suppose if you want an all-in-one then it might be OK for some. Be interested to see what the price will be.

Re: adobe lightroom
I still have not tried it as I have PC issues if I instal Windows SP2 and Lightroom requires SP2 to run
![]() Over the winter I intend to spend some time looking at all the raw convertors in detail now that Rawshooter is no longer going to be updated. Such a shame as it really was the ideal solution for me ![]() |

Re: adobe lightroom
In my take on Photoshop Lightroom it is a tool designed for a photographer's digital workflow that has file, developement, printing and now web based modules to speed up the process from shoot to print and/or web.
It is not supposed to replace Photoshop. IMHO, I like it....but may not be for everyone! |
