Alamy update
Ok this is gonna be a ball ache!!
Anybody who has any images on Alamy now needs to update the details of every image they have with them. When you look at images that you have for sale there are now a load of check boxes that need ticking, does this picture contain people do you have model release does it contain buildings do you have property release is it a cut out etc etc etc. Just thought Id let everybody know. ![]() |

Re: Alamy update
I hear ya Gary. I've still got about 400 more to update. I think they're delaying the QC process for anyone who still has images that need to be updated. I've had a few batches stuck since October 16th.
To add to what Gary said, IF you had images up with Alamy and had them keyworded, they're still online and still for sale. Alamy's new search system has a keyword ranking system, so you have to decide what the most important keywords are in about 50 characters. You don't lose the old keywords, they just get moved to the lowest possible rank you can give them. So, while technically you don't have to go update them, it's going to hurt you if you don't (through how they'll be ranked in searches)

Re: Alamy update
With 2 images you will be very lucky to see any return at all, I have several hundred with PD and Alamy and it makes me about £100.00 month, the more images the more chance you have of sales
