Anyone for Focus @ NEC, Birmingham?

Anyone going to Focus this year at the NEC, Brmingham, 25-28 Feb 2007/

Probably pop in on the Sunday - catchup time with friends as much as anything but be great to see some Pixalites!

Hi Mark, I'm going up on Wednesday, hopefully, just depends how well my lad is getting on with his GCSE mocks, his need may be greater! I need some paper, so thought it would be ideal to look round.

Mark - I got my computer back on Monday! I've been posting some shots taken with my new lens that I've also got back from repair. So you can't laugh at me now, at least not for that reason, I'm sure you'll find another!

Dave, I'll look out for you, you should be easy to spot

I will be there on the Monday, with a few friends from the camera club.
I hope someone will be selling canon lenses at a good price again this year, bought a 70-300is last year for £350, I am in the market for a 70-200 f2.8 is this time, and the money is burning a hole in my pocket

LOL @ Tigress! Pretty much it!

Canon didn't show (again) - Apple, Adobe Nikon, Fuji and Phase One (to name but 5) are all there, as are Sigma (yay!). Couldn't find Tamrac bags but the Kata ones looked good (pricey but Andy Rowse obviously likes them!).

If you haven't been before, it's probably worth a visit, if you have there's a slight feel of deja vu (tho' fewer wedding album suppliers which can't all be bad!)
