Anyone use InkFlow ink systems for Epson printers ?
They boast 70% savings in Ink costs for Epson printers. These continous Inkflow systems for Epson printer fcost approx £80-£90 in vat. + Ink costs. Now looking elsewhere I see similar systems for nearly double the price. Anyone had any experience of "InkFlow" systems ?
Source of prices :- LION Picture Framing Supplies brochure. |

Re: Anyone use InkFlow ink systems for Epson printers ?
I used to have a 6 colour continuous ink flow set for an Epson 660 but that is a fair while ago now. However, the price you are talking about does sound very good value. Interms of quality I didn't have any problems with it at all, the flow was constant and I didn't suffer overtly from dried channels. The occasional head clean was required but it is with any cartirdges and inks if you don't use the printer for a week or so.
That's as much as I can offer I'm afraid. I now use a Canon printer but to my knowledge there isn't a contant ink flow system for my printer. In fairness, I would probably not use one now just because I have an excellent supplier of non-branded cartridges which are great value so I would gain very little from such a system other than not having to change the cartridges very often. I wouldn't save much money. Be interested to hear whether you go for it or not and how you get on if the former. Cheers, Rob

Re: Anyone use InkFlow ink systems for Epson printers ?
A pro friend of mine uses the Lyson system for his R1800 - I think they are the market leaders and its a case of you get what you pay for - inc the quality of inks.
He has always been happy with the Lyson inks and papers but steered me off the B+W inks they provide - hence I got the R2400 and use the Epson inks Hope this helps Simon |
