Anyone used Epson Sample Print offer ?

Quite clever marketing by Epson, where they let you upload a photo to be printed on up to 3 of their model of printers, which they then send to you Free your photos with EPSON

Just tried it with the Epson R1800 vs the Epson R2400, to see if the dedicated Mono inks make that much difference with the latter

Anyone else used this offer before ?

Re: Anyone used Epson Sample Print offer ?

Well the prints came through today. I chose identuical shots to be printed to allow me to compare a top colour printer vs top colour printer with dedicated mono cartridges.

Result was there was a significant difference, but not as I thought it would be.

Re: Anyone used Epson Sample Print offer ?

Well I saw an A3 Mono print from the R2400 at a recent camera club & have to say the quality was stunning. My original thoughts were it had to be a film print done at a Pro print shop, due to the level of detail & tones. SO was most impressed t find it was a Digital shot witht the Epson R2400......wasn't so impressed when told the price though
