Backups: great free software to make sure your photos are safe

Ladies and Gentlespoons,
May I recommend Cobian Backup for your backup needs:
http://www.educ.umu.se/~cobian/cobianbackup.htm

We have put it into place for a couple of our customers at work, and it is great. It is free, easy to use and has some excellent features. I am currently backing up 21GB of photos to a spare hard drive, in ZIP format, and it is looking like it will take up 10GB. You can schedule jobs to occur at various times, keep x number of backups, run and then shutdown the computer, and even download files from an FTP server.

I don't have any connection to the software, other than being astounded at what you can get for free.

Cheers,
Matt
