Re: bag query...

I'm afraid I was in danger of joining the ranks of Silkstone in the 'camera-bag-addiction' department! But I have tried keep a lid on this compulsion to buy bags galore

My main bags are now:

Lowepro Slingshot 200 - holds pretty much everything I have (bar tripod) and is comfortable/easy to use.

Crumpler Pretty Boy XL 4000 - as a multi-purpose bag and for mainly when I want to go walking with 'just' the body and the choice of the 70-300mm and a smaller lens.

Lowepro Mini TLZ - for when I just want the body/small lens.

I have others... but these are the ones that actually get used

Re: bag query...

Just out of interest where did you get the Crumpler? I've seen Ali's and thought it was great and have been trying to find the cheapest source of them on the net.

Re: bag query...

Crumpler are great bags and I love mine, but the range is daunting. Also they have different names for the same bag so even if you identify the bag you want in a bricks a mortar shop finding the same bag on line is tricky.

Re: bag query...

Angela I got mine from Surrey Photography - they have a normal online shop, and also an Ebay shop (Surrey Photographic Supplies). I got mine via their Ebay, slightly cheaper than buying direct.
