from Aldi last Thursday,

its a Tevion unit ( Medion ) R100LB , nice little silver unit for under the TV, makes my video recorder and dv player redundant now,

also plays all cd and dvd formats including Kodak picture cd and JPG cd's , coaxial digital out, with component vid as well as svid and scarts ,
and best of all it has a DV input on the front ( as well as phono jacks and svid port ) for my mini DV camcorder. dont know how many do this but this one will also rotate a pic on-screen , so no turning my head on its side anymore, lol

cost was £109.99

all i need now id a multiregion hack so i can play some imported dvd's, have been to the usual sites but its that new they aint been posted yet, lol


the picture is better than my 5 year old LG 2280p , which was a fantastic unit when i got it , and cost me nearly £400 at the time.

found the region free hack tonight, am wel pleased, for those who want to know

no disc , drawer closed in dvd play mode
press ' return '
press ' info '
pres 8880 for region free , ( 8881 for reg 1 , 8882 for reg 2 etc etc )

it should confirm this on-screen
