Box Brownies

Hey all...

Ive just bought an old box brownie from the Mells Daffodil Market, it was a good market if you went. Anyway, does anyone know where you could (if you still can) get film for it.

I had a fiddle with it, its in good nick, with a bit of rust though mind you but i see no reasowhy it shouldnt work. Its brilliantly simple with just a single lever for the shutter release witch works, and a winder for the film, I love it. Its way more fun than my D40X
Anyway, thanks for the help.

Re: Box Brownies

In the depths of my memory, I think it takes 127 film. Not sure if you can still get it, but seem to remember that another size will fit.

If Les passes by he will probably know for sure.

Re: Box Brownies

Brownie Box camera's take 120 roll film, I have my Grandads that was bought new when Noah was still counting them in 2 by 2.

120 Roll Film Processing | THE WHOLE PICTURE ONLINE LTD

This company still does processing but for where you get film try 7dayshop.com

Yup they still do 100asa B&W 120 roll film for 1.35 plus p&p

7dayshop.com - Online Store

Be very interesting to see what you get if you have a try
