i am thinking of starting a new photo competition, but dont have the first idear about what is needed, its an idear i am thinking of selling to my boss as another way to advertise his company. as he owns a new 9 million pound garden centre in mid wales. and spends hundreds on news paper adds when it could be spent on a more worthwhile competition helping the photographers ( uk wide ) as i would have to get him to use one of the monthly photography magazines to host it. also i was thinking of getting him to use one of his empty units to show case all the entries in the competition like a gallery.as yet its just an idear in my head and im just trying to see just what it would all entail and try and work out how much something on that scale would cost him to fund and run each year. and as he has empty units there could be seminars and photo talks ect ect. as here in wales he has the settings for it all as he has 275 acres of land, a 200 seat resturant, and he's planning on having nature walks,bird hides, a working farm, and a planned hotel at some point. and i thought what a great place to hold such a great event . so any advice, or help on the idear would not go amiss. thanx graham.
