Buying a Nikon D300 from Duty Free Heathrow

Hi All I was recently at Heathrow duty free and witnessed a Nikon
D300 for 749.00 (body only), I currently use a Nikon D40.I have checked around and beleive this to be a 'bargain'.I have had my D40 for over a year now, is it too soon to make the leap to a D300?
Cheers

That is not a bad price as 879 is the cheapest i've seen recently.

However - two things to think on. One is that after Christmas the prices will probably come down in the sales and also Easter is another price drop time (that's when I got my one), and two - you will probably have to pay duty on it when you return to the UK.

I've NEVER found (electrical) duty free prices to be anything other than a rip off. They're invariably the RRP minus duty and generally make Jessops' prices look like a bargain. If that is a genuine price and you have the pennies, I'd snap it up asap.
