calibration software
Does anyone now of any good colour calibration software so i can calibrate my LCD and printer to display and print exactly the same colours. I'm finding my prints (using a Epsom R340 printer) doesn't always match the colours thats displayed on screen.
I've seen some at Warehouse Express but are of the £100 and more mark, any one know of anything cheaper? |

Re: calibration software
I don't think so. Plus I've read of people paying more and still not getting consistant calibration. I've pretty well got it sussed using Adobe Gamma - at least it's acceptable calibration and costs nothing. No matter what you use I don't think you'll get perfection, it's more a case of what you find acceptable.

Re: calibration software
You can get alot closer to perfection by using the correct printer and paper profiles for the makes that you use. If you are using third party papers not from the same printer manufactuer then check out the paper makers website for possible paper profiles and use them.
Like Stepheno says...after that it may be worth using Adobe Gamma which is free with Elements or Photoshop...it may even be available as a free download independantly too, while it won't give you perfect results you will find nothing better for no cost ![]() |
