Camera Bag Advice

I have been thinking I need a bigger bag for a while now.

I've slowly been collecting filters, cables etc and my Lowepro Rucksack is fit to burst.

I like the look of the Lowepro Magnum 200/400 AW bags but at £120/£140 they are a bit pricey.

Anyone got any good recommendation for a cheaper option?

Re: Camera Bag Advice

I've got a Tamrac Pro 12 that I got on e-bay for £60.

I wrote a review here

Pixalo Photographic Equipment Reviews - Pro System 12 (5612) -

Biggest snag I found was that there are four straps to secure and open the lid which is time consuming and fiddly and when I had all of my kit in it, it weighed over 10kg!!!

I've now gone the other way from trying to accommodate all of my kit to a smaller and lighter bag to take selected kit only.

Thanks Graham, I have couple of rucksack very similar to each other except one also can take a laptop. I want a 'big' bag that I can put all my kit in and then transfer items I need to one of my rucksacks. Ideally I want a top opening bag with lots of pockets so this might be worth a look.

Ah! If you mean you want something to store kit in, look at this

Re: Camera Bag Advice

I also have a tamrac pro 12 you can get two bodies and plenty of other gear as well inside, but as Graham says it can get heavy but as it sounds like you want it for storage that solution that Graham uses must be worth a look
Cheers
