Are they still on sale in the shops or am i going to have to go ebay hunting ?? I know i could go and look round the high street but im away in the truck most of the time & never seem to be around when the darn shops are open

Re: Cokin filters ......

Cokin filters are still available - but so are many others. Many companies now make square filters and systems and usually the different brands will fit each others holders.

I'd do some research before you buy though as I believe that from a quality point of view you can do better than Cokin.

Re: Cokin filters ......

i'm not an expert but i do have cokin filters and i am very happy with them. first i ordered lee but waiting time was at least 6 weeks (no one told me about it before i ordered). i was checking other companies that produce filters but cokin works for me and is in a good price.

Re: Cokin filters ......

As everyone else seems hellbent on answering a completely different question to the one you asked I'll pipe up

You can get the P rings in Jessops as far as I know and most decent camera shops would stock them, however they cost a fair bit for the real ones whereas the 1 -2 versions from Hong Kong work just as well.

If the filter holder you have is the A version however I doubt many places would stock those these days, but again readily available from your nearest Chinese emporium

I would have thought that as a professional photographer you would know. I wonder what your potential clients would think of you if they saw the level of your contributions to this site?

Why are you continuing to make inane posts in our forums? I think that you should either become an asset to Pixalo by sharing your expertise and helping other members or just go away and stop wasting everyones time.
