Compulsory ID card prices unveiled

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/talking_point/default.stm

£30 for a 'standard' one, £93 if you want one that combines the ID card and a passport!

If this were optional, fair enough. But forcing everyone to pay for this? Utterly f***ing disgusting.

Well I won't be buying one. If they want me to have one, they can give it to me.
If they want me to pay for it, then it must be my choice.

Screw em

Oh, and they can shove their photocard driving license too, I'm keeping my paper one as long as I can, too. I'm not paying to change that either.

I didn't pay to get my photo driving licence...... well i suppose I sort of did. It came back as a photo licence when it was sent off to be 'endorsed' in 1999
